History

Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics Centre (BMLAC) is a member of the Victorian Little Athletics Association (VLAA).  Formed in 1969 the Centre has been running continuously since its inception with participant numbers steadily increasing.  We now have almost 300 children competing each year.  More than 27,000 young Victorians participate in Little Athletics.  There are almost 100,000 Little Athletes registered throughout Australia.

Inter Club competition at Bacchus Marsh consists of a Track and Field season from September to March at Mason’s Lane Reserve and a Cross-Country season from May to August at venues to be decided closer to the time.

This handbook contains a wealth of information on the activities of the Centre and the Association.  Please take time to read it carefully and don’t hesitate to approach Club Officials or members of the Centre Executive if you have any questions or problems.  We thank you for joining our Centre and sincerely hope that your time with us will be long, enjoyable and successful.

We also would like to thank and acknowledge the people who have put in many dedicated years to this Centre so that we could grow into the Centre we are today.  Without their dedication, time and passion this Centre would struggle to continue.
